Our Concept

Del Sol Travels is a team of award winning Travel Agents and Wedding photographers. Between us, we’ve seen hundreds of venues in thousands of scenarios. Our combined knowledge and experience is a goldmine. On the travel side we have the experience to guide you to your ideal hotel based on the unique offerings of each location. From the photo side we can share a intimate representation of how light and setups will look and tell you how it is in real life on the wedding day. We’ve been both guests and vendors at the hotels we recommend and we know their packages inside out.

Del Sol Travels

Del Sol Travels will work with you to organize your group. Coordinating room blocks and negotiations with hotels is part of it. Most importantly, they’ll make sure that your overall destination wedding experience is flawless. Booking a destination wedding is VERY different from organizing your vacations, and many resorts first recommendation to brides is to get a TA who specializes in weddings.

Del Sol Photography has photographed in thousands of hotels and over 1500 weddings. They have seen every light condition and know so many subtle details that can help you have a very dramatic impact on how you plan your wedding day. Ideally, we’ll show you real weddings in your venue and give you the opportunity to judge properties before planning any travel to see Riviera Maya destination wedding venues in person.

Nancy is a travel junkie, and has traveled (and run a marathon on) all 7 continents. Her travel industry experience includes 25 years as an air traffic controller combined with over 10 years as a travel designer, focusing on Romance Travel. The word ‘stress’ doesn’t exist in her vocabulary - she can handle anything.
Nancy has achieved much recognition for her work in the travel industry; she is a recipient of several awards from resorts and travel providers. She is one of the Top 10 Destination Wedding Specialists in the country.

Pam

Del Sol Travels Pro

Pam started her travel career over 30 years ago with a major cruise line company, but for the last decade she turned her focus to destination weddings. She‘s traveled extensively through Mexico, the Caribbean, Canada, and Europe and had the pleasure of making countless couples dreams come true for their destination weddings. Weddings hold a special place in Pam’s heart since her own beach wedding in Hawaii. Pam loves love visiting new places, enjoying local culture, and discovering a country’s history. Her goal is to make sure you have an extraordinary and unforgettable journey.

Matt

Del Sol Travels - Photographer

Matt‘s been a traveler and a dreamer his whole life. Thanks to his mother’s employment at Delta Airlines Matt has traveled from the age of 5. He’s stayed in hundreds of boutique luxury hotels and knows an extensive lineup of properties throughout the Riviera Maya. Matt is a co-founder of Del Sol Photography with 20 years of experience as a professional photographer, and is published in hundreds of magazines and websites for his travel, event and commercial photography.
